When I started my employment at the West Virginia Library Commission, I was charged with creating a web presence for cataloging. That presence become the "Cataloging Help Desk." Over the past three years, this service was moved to the back burner to assist in migrating the Library Commission and Archives & History Library, a Division of Culture and History, to a new integrated library system.
Now that stuff has settled, I wanted to bring back the "Cataloging Help Desk" but include other Technical Services related issues. Getting away from creating state web page creation was a must for me, too. This blog became the solution.
